A comfortable win for Woodhurst as they progressed to the next Round of the league cup, but despite easing home five goals, it could - and should - have been much much more.
A pair of doubles from Jamie Bradbury and Andrew Sheppard, plus another strike from Nigel Jordon, took Abridge to the cleaners, but each of them, particularly Bradbury and Jordon, will be ruing a series of missed opportunities to stretch the lead even further.
However, it wasn't to be, but the Hurst move onwards and upwards and they keep in with a shout for the treble.
