A series of rued chances were to blame for Woodhurst's first defeat of their pre-season campaign.
In an at times entertaining fixtures Woodhurst should have found the net on a number of occasions and
were punished with a goal from the away side im each half. Simon Probert returned from his two-month sabatical
in Faliraki looking a bit worse for wear.
After the game Manager Jimmy Woodham was philosophical, "We played some good football at times and knocked the ball around well,
but mistakes like the one for their goal will always kill you.
"However, when you miss the number of chances we did you can't expect to get anything from a team of Pennant's calibre."
He added: "I feel confident that when we are at full strength we'll be raring to go."
