At the end of the season Krona will be in the mix, so a well-earned victory away from home was a great result for the Hurst.
But it was surprising how easy the victory was acheived, or perhaps not when you consider how well Woodhurst played. Their quick passing and fast breaks all over the field made the Krona defence very dizzy, but, for some great 'keeping from the Krona number 1, the visitors would have been well in front when Krona actually scored the games first goal.
However, just before the break, a powerful run into the box from Jason Fullerton allowed Probert to slip the ball through for the grocery expert and he put his personal safety to one side as he poked the ball beyond the 'keeper and in to make the scores level.
A confident Woodhurst returned after the break and were soon in front when Jamie Bradbury tucked home a cross from debutant Alex Alexander at the back post. The number nine then made it three when his neat one-two with Jan Souleyman fooled the Krona rearguard before he powered in to the net with his left.
Player/manager Jimmy Woodham put the game beyond doubt when his 20-yard strike was deflected past the goalie and Jan Souleyman was finally rewarded for all his running for number five. Having seen his mazy run ended unfairly inside the box, the Chigwell chappie stroked home the spot kick and the Hurst had three more points. Once against though, Bashford's game ended early with his troublesome heel forcing him off after just 15 minutes.
