Hurst start with a chance for revenge - 3rd September 03

Woodhurst have been handed an opportunity to settle a score from last season as Gidea Park Rangers, who were victorious in the Godbold Cup semi-final at Parmiters in March, are the first up for Woodham's men this time round.

The Romford youngsters gained promotion through the 'back door' when the top flight looked short of teams, and return to E4 on the opening day of the season, Sunday 21st September.

Then follows a week later, a tricky trip away to Krona, who'll certainly be in the mix come May.

October 5th, in Woodhurst's third league game, Tudor are the visitors. The Rainham outfit looked promising in last year's Cup encounter with the Hurst, but the superior strength and experience showed as Woodhurst won 2-0 that day. The only other game so far scheduled, as a we have been handed a bye to the 2nd round of the Essex Junior Cup, is an away match at Drofmor. This league fixture has been set for 12th October.

Before that however, Woodham's men face two tricky pre-season friendly match. Both at Parmiters, first up is for Independent Sunday League side Lacey Wanderers on Sunday 7th then on the 14th Division Two side Abridge Village will be the opponents. All matches will kick off at 11am.
