A new season, a new league, same team
Woodhurst FC prepare to return to action for the new season, here is a schedule of what is to come for the boys from Nelson Road as they embark on their first season in the Essex Sunday Corinthian League.
Essex Sunday Corinthian Football League
Though it's a new league, Woodhurst are not the only Independent Sunday League side to be moving over to the Corinthian League. Krona, who have always provided the Hurst with a very tough game, will help make up Division One. Also in are Baronsmere, defeators of the Hurst in last season's Essex Sunday Junior Cup.The full constitution of the league is as follows;

Pre-Season
With the season due to kick off on Sunday 5th September, a six-week programme of pre-season will begin on Sunday 25th July 2004*. Three training sessions and four games, including the first fixture against The FA at Cockfosters, will see the Hurst into the new campaign.

*This is subject to confirmation and training may commence on 1st August.
Woodhurst Tour 2005
After a two-year absence, the Woodhurst FC tour will return in June 2005.
A venue has yet to be decided, but as well as a return to Prague being on the cards, other venues such as Valencia, Germany, Croatia, Jersey and Slovakia have been mooted.
A two-night stay is likely, leaving England on a Friday, with a game against a local outfit on the Saturday afternoon.
